When expectant mothers come to Samaritan for childbirth they are supported and cared for by highly qualified doctors, advanced practitioners, nurses, and healthcare staff. Samaritan offers a full range of OB/GYN services, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, plus laparoscopic surgery, well-woman services, family planning, and more.

Personalized support

We’ve been supporting mothers and babies with quality, local healthcare for more than 70 years. At the Samaritan Family Birth Center, highly-trained staff and providers care for new mothers and their babies with personalized attention and compassion in a safe labor and delivery environment.

We provide inpatient lactation support for mothers and babies until they go home from the hospital, and we hold a weekly breastfeeding support group at the hospital. Samaritan has received the Breastfeeding Friendly Washington Hospitals silver-level recognition from the Washington State Department of Health for our efforts in promoting breastfeeding to help get newborns off to a healthy start.
