What is an ENT?
An ear, nose, and throat doctor, known as an ENT, is a medical provider specially trained to diagnose and treat conditions of the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. Who does an ENT treat?
Samaritan’s ENTs have a family-centered care approach, treating patients of all ages for a variety of conditions in both clinical and hospital settings. They commonly perform procedures on children, including tonsillectomies or ear tubes, and can coordinate with pediatric providers. ENTs also care for issues affecting older patients, including vertigo or sleep apnea, and work alongside primary care providers to provide seamless care from diagnosis through treatment and recovery.
When should I see an ENT?
ENTs can help you breathe, speak, sleep, and hear your best. At Samaritan, they see patients via in-office exams using scopes and imaging tools as well as perform minimally invasive surgical procedures in the hospital. Personalized treatment plans are created based on each patient’s needs, examining issues such as:

Dr. Christopher Roberts, MD offers medical and surgical care to patients of all ages for a variety of conditions. His services include tonsillectomies, ear tubes, allergy care, thyroid issues, and more. Dr. Roberts earned his medical degree from the Penn State College of Medicine and completed a residency at West Virginia University.
