Joint Replacement Program

All Elective Total Hip and Knee Replacement Patients are enrolled into Samaritan’s Total Joint Replacement Program. This program helps to prepare you for your upcoming joint replacement surgery. Patients and their support person are required to complete the Total Joint Replacement Education Class prior to surgery. This is offered at 1:30 p.m. at Samaritan Hospital Conference Room A every Thursday except Holidays and the following dates in 2026:

  • April 23rd
  • June 11th
  • July 16th
  • September 10th
  • November 19th

Orthopaedic Nurse Navigator

A specialized registered nurse who acts as a single point of contact, guiding patients through their entire orthopedic journey—pre-op, surgery, and rehabilitation. They coordinate care, educate patients, and act as liaisons to improve outcomes and patient satisfaction while reducing costs and readmissions.
