Alexis Muniz is an exercise physiologist at Samaritan. In this role, she designs customized, safe, and effective exercise programs to help patients recovering from medical conditions, manage chronic diseases, or optimize performance.

Her direct approach helps patients take accountability in reaching their goals while still feeling supported. Patients often enter Alexis’s care after a major life event, such as a heart attack, and she encourages them to make lifestyle changes that last long after their time in the clinic.

She cheers on patients as they progress in strength, conditioning, and confidence. By encouraging them to move and eat in new ways, they learn that healthy change is not only sustainable, but can also be enjoyable.

Alexis earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Western Washington University in Bellingham. When she isn’t helping patients, she enjoys reading, weightlifting, yoga, and quality time with friends and family.
